*ran 3 miles today. I am crazy & in pain. It is time to get serious. I have been steadily gaining weight for a few months & my hormones are out.of.control. Time to break out the protein & the whole grains!! No pain, no gain.
*didn't go to the rodeo. Instead, we went to Charlie's family BBQ and shot off fireworks which caused Claire to have nightmares and be in our bed all.night.long. We missed church the next day because of that & Charlie being up all night in pain from his hernia and severe ulcer. He also may have some slight prostate problems. Please pray for us!! (Especially Charlie!)
*Lily went potty twice the other day & has went 3 times since then but seems to have lost interest! Ahhhhhh! What to do?
*Drew is cruising the furniture & he has four teeth!! Where is my baby?!
*Claire is loving starfall.com!!!! And so is Mommy!! Thanks, Aunt Crystal!
*We have had almost no labor intensive inside cooked meals since Charlie got his new grill! We grill all.the.time. Which is fine with me because it has been so stinking HOT!! (Tanya, there I go bragging again! Oops!) =)
*The last couple of days have been nice, though. We finally got some rain and the temps have only been in the upper 80's, lower 90's instead of 108!!!!! Yeah, you read that right.
*Our lawn was dying from the heat(no matter how much we watered it) but it's finally looking greener. My roses started to die but have revived themselves & our garden is looking good. The yummy veggies are awesome!!
*We spent all weekend just lying around and in the pool! It was relaxing and Sooooooo much fun!
*I got to have a good conversation with my sister in law and my mother-in-law about books (which I love to talk about). Have any of you read "The Shack"? What's your opinion? Just curious. =)
*I have 950 emails in my inbox so if you have emailed me & I haven't answered, have no fear! I am NOT ignoring you! I hope to get to those this weekend. If it's urgent, I am really sorry! I will try to do better. I promise.
*Getting excited about 2 VBS' coming up that my kids are going to!! One is at Charlie's family's church and the other is at one of our homeschool friends churches....they are doing a creation theme and I am SO excited and can't wait to tell you more about that after we go!! Should be a BLAST!! =)
*I got to go shopping the other day by myself for a little while. Got talked into a purchase that I am not sure about. I hate that. I think I was just so excited to be out by myself. All of that freedom went to my head! :)
Well, I think that's enough random junk to keep you busy for awhile, at least! Hope you are having a great summer!
*In case you are wondering, I will do a "Lily" letter sometime this week and a "Drew" letter after that. Someone had asked so I just wanted to let them know. It's a little something that I plan on doing from now on......
