crockpot ravioli....

This is super easy & super quick and you don't heat your house up making it which is always a plus in the summer!! :) Also, I like to make this on my baking day because it is so good served with Julia Child's white bread & it's so easy to make. After making bread & muffins all day long, it's nice to have something easy to throw in the crockpot!! :)

Here you go; the amounts are approximate:

1 (20-25 oz. bag of frozen beef raviolis) (we are only going to use half of the bag)

1 (20-25 oz. bag of frozen 4 or 5 cheese raviolis) (same as above)

1 large (30 oz or larger) jar of Prego Spaghetti sauce (I use mushroom & onion)

8 -16 oz. of shredded mozerella cheese (or however much "cheesy" you like!)

2 T. Italian seasoning (I use Tone's Spicy Spaghetti)

cooking spray (to oil the crockpot)

1/2 c. water

Parmesan cheese(However much you like + some for garnish!)

In a 5 or 6 qt. crockpot, spray crockpot with cooking spray or grease with butter or we use smart balance. Add half of the spaghetti sauce. Add raviolis. Combine remainder of spaghetti sauce with water & seasonings. Shake to combine. Add to crockpot. Place shredded mozerella & parmesan on top of the spaghetti sauce mixture. Place lid on crockpot and cook on LOW for 4-6 hours. Serve with french bread or Julia Child's white bread & a simple salad. Yummy!!
