Happy Father's Day & a modgepodge of other things....

Just home doing laundry and catching up on a few things before we head back to camp. I would
please ask you to be in prayer for our family this week:

*my Aunt Brenda died suddenly and completely unexpectedly in her sleep. My uncle is beyond saddened. It has been a rough few days.

*Church camp started the same day my aunt died. The campgrounds are located on their property(isn't that generous of them?) right behind their home. We need prayers as a congregation that we may go ahead with camp and finish strong. This will be an extremely rough week.

*Charlie is starting a new job this week. A completely different company(with AMAZING benefits) offered him a position. It will mean a slight cut in pay for a little while but he is going to take it for various other reasons not to mention the amazing benefits package they offer. Please pray for us as we adjust to this new job and pray that the transition for Charlie is smooth. Pray that we continue to hear God's voice and see his hand in all of this. THANKS SO MUCH!!!

Okay, now on to Father's Day:

Happy Father's Day to my wonderful husband, Charlie and to the man who brought me up in the Lord, Doug. What a wonderful Daddy I have and what a wonderful husband I have. Also, to my father-in-law, Ralph, for being such a great man and raising such an amazing son!! Happy Father's Day to all three of you and to all other father's out there!! :)

*I will not be blogging this week but hope to be back soon to post pictures of all we have been doing!! Have a wonderful week! It's 100 degrees here and we will probably be in the pool for the entire rest of the summer...as a matter of fact, I think I'll take a quick dip before we head back to church camp!!

Love,
Julie
