a new & fun responsibility for me!!!
I have a brave new undertaking. I am going to be working with teenage girls on Wednesday nights. We are going to be focusing on modesty and virtue and most of all, applying Christ in every aspect of their lives. I feel like God has been putting this on my heart for some time and even though this is going to absolutely wear me out with everything else I have going, I feel like I must follow God's leading in this. Charlie is in complete agreement with me and others have approached me about this same area so starting a month from this Wednesday, we go forward.
To get this started, next weekend I will have at least 8 teenage girls spending the night with us for homemade pizza and clean modest movies..any ideas on good movies for young girls???? I am really going to need your prayers with this and most probably your support!! I need ideas!!! If any of you do this kind of ministry or have been a part of it in the past are there any books/videos/series, ANYTHING that you would recommend that would help young girls to see their TRUE value in Christ???!!! PLEASE share with me!! :)
Okay, so I am off to get some more printer paper and ink and begin my new adventure........I need your prayers, tremendously right now!!! PLEASE don't forget to cover me in prayer as I begin this journey!!! I know how precious these souls are to Christ and I DON"T want to do ANYTHING that would lead them down the wrong path!!!

So awesome sweetie, you will do great. You have my love and prayers.
What an awesome ministry! I recently posted about the book, "raising maidens of virtue" ! It's an awesome book, and you c ould just pick a chapter to work on w/ them. I'm starting it w/ my daughters (10 & 8- kind of young, but there's nothing 'inappropriate' so why not start young?) We also recently watched 'love comes softly' and 'loves enduring promise'. Very clean, and the 'promise' one (the 2nd in the series) has a great gospel message presented; I didn't notice as much in the first one. They're based on a christian fiction series.
Hope I helped a little. Will be praying for you; what a desperately needed ministry for today's young ladies.
