Verse of the day: I am working on the attributes in Galations 5:22-23
"Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, (Oh, how I need this verse EVERY single day!) Especially patience & joy!! :)
What's cooking in my kitchen: Slow Cooker Chili Chicken Tacos, Charlie's salsa & guacamole, birthday cake for me!!
Activity with kids: play outside and draw new spring flowers in nature journals (it's 85 here today)
Target cleaning areas: front yard, closets, grout around bathtubs, shower and sink
Charlie needs for me to: look at new insurance plans
Something special: making Charlie's favorite tacos, writing him a love note, we have a date tomorrow night at a new Italian restaurant (yay!!)
Outside time: work on front yard and preparing flower beds while kids play and Drew sits by me in the bouncy seat
Project: all laundry folded & put away. Work on homeschool curriculum list for our trip to Tulsa.
In our school house: Reading "The little House in the Big Woods"
drawing circles
counting & sorting
Claire is left handed (and we believe Lily is too) so we are trying a new writing technique with them. Any lefties out there reading this? :)
A picture memory to share:
My niece Sarah teaching Claire how to do the peace sign. Claire has blue fingers because she was playing in her blue coconut slush from Sonic. I love these girls so much! :)
