Happy 6 months, sweet baby boy!

Mama is not supposed to be blogging but for this, I just had to break my fast! :)

Drew, Andrew, Drewbee, Drew-bear, Boo-Bear, sweet son of ours, you are the most precious and adorable little boy that I have ever known! You have brought such peace to my life. I don't really know how to put what I feel for you into words. You are an answer to my prayers. You calm me down and you make me laugh every day with your nonstop grins and coos! Once you started smiling, baby boy, you have never stopped!

Cuddle bug, you are hardly ever upset and you are never upset with Mama! You light up every single time you hear my voice or see my face. It's a wonder to behold how much love you have for your Mama and Daddy! You giggle every time you hear Daddy's voice! And, the sisters, well, ya'll are best friends already and no one better do anything to hurt their baby brother!

Oh sweet baby boy, you are supposed to be my last but Mama is just not sure! How can I be when you are such a bundle of love and sweetness and pure absolute joy?! When I am just now, with you, beginning to relax about being a mother? Just now becoming comfortable with such a huge responsibility? Comfortable but still not ever entirely sure of myself! :)

So, I am going to brag on you a little bit. Here's what you are doing now:

*Sleeping from 8:30 pm until 8 am (and have since you were about 10 weeks old) Praise the Lord!!

*eating only mixed cereal. Not oatmeal or rice, you spit them right out!

*eating peaches and bananas. Nothing else. You are very strange with textures. Never had this problem with your sisters. Any tips, anyone?

*LOVE to blow spit bubbles!!!

*you talk to me and coo at me and your sisters all day long!

*you are not happy unless your sisters are playing with you!

*Peek-a-boo is your favorite game and Daddy is your favorite person to play it with!! He's so funny! :)

*You LOVE to suck your thumb and will take a pacifier but prefer your hand (your left hand).

*You love to cuddle with your Mommy! And Mama eats it up!!!

*You love to take baths and your sisters sing to you while you are in the tub. You love "God put a rainbow in the cloud"

*You watch ballet with Claire and you really like movies with dogs in them! YOu get really excited!

*You grab my hands all the time and make me stop what I am doing and talk to you!

*You roll over VERY well and you sit up almost completely by yourself. You are just a little unstable but getting stronger every day! :)

*You take an hour and a half nap in the morning and a 3 hr. nap in the afternoon! Praise God!

*You are an amazing blessing to our family, Andrew Coy David and we love you abundantly!!!

Happy 6 months birthday!! Just don't grow up too fast on me (you already are) :(
