a few of my favorite things....

I've kind of been down in the dumps today and the torrential downpours that we have been having ALL week are kind of making me gloomy so I wanted to do something fun while the kids are napping. I chose blogging, how surprising!! :)

Here's a few of my favorite things of late: (I linked to them if you are interested)

*Gain laundry detergent & fabric softener ( I used to make my own but it got too expensive as the washing soda became unavailable locally and to ship it cost an arm and a leg so...as I was making it to save money that would kind of defeat the purpose, right?) I LOVE the smell of Gain. I have the dryer sheets in the bottom of my trash cans, in our dresser drawers, diaper bags, the trunk of my car and under our car seats and oh yeah, I use them in the dryer! I try to keep everything smelling fresh!! :)

*Coke Zero (I have always been a huge fan of Dr.Pepper and I still am but it doesn't like my hips!! Ha! so, I had to find something to replace it with and I found this! I used to drink Diet Pepsi but since they are so blatantly promoting homosexual commercials I have changed to Coke. I will probably get ugly emails about that!)

* Jergen's Natural Glow (this stuff is AWESOME and it NEVER leaves me orange!!) I use the fair skin firming formula. It's great for the cellulite, too!)

*Bonne Bell lip smackers Dr. Pepper lip gloss (my love for Dr. Pepper, nuff said!)

*Bath & Body Works toe the line products(my feet are horrible thus my love for pedicures!)

*Caress Tahitian Renewal Body wash (the generic is good, too) smells tropical and I love that for summer!!

*Cato earrings (I do not have pierced ears and clip-ons are so hard to find; they have cheap, really cute ones!)

*These dresses from Forever 21 ($12 people, $12!!!!!!)

*Mary Kay Mineral Powder Foundation (the BEST stuff I have ever used!!)

*Revlon nail polish (I am liking "black * ling*erie ) right now (I did *that so google searches would not bring people here.)

*Isaiah 58-It's challenging me and changing me, so much.

*I need a new cell phone; any recommendations?! I can't decide what to get; there are so many choices!! And, I am such a cheapskate so under $150 if possible, please!! :)

*Smart water (I love water)

*Smart Balance (I use it to cook everything with. It and EVOO)


Well, there's a few! Now I am off to do something more productive. I'll be back tomorrow with pics of my sweet Miss Lily. She's 2 tomorrow!!
